The Phases of our Full Planning + Design Package
Understanding
At this stage, we believe that understanding your unique style, preferences, and priorities is crucial in creating a truly personalized and unforgettable wedding day. To achieve this, we have crafted a comprehensive questionnaire that will deep dive into your vision, ensuring your day reflects your love story and who you are as a couple!
But that's not all! We have also crafted a special knowledge book specifically for our full-planning clients. This book is designed to be your ultimate guide to learning all the essential key points of weddings so you can better understand all of your options so we can create an even better day for you!
Onboarding
Once you're signed up and confirmed, we take a deliberate and steady approach to ensure that we both have all the knowledge to move forward.
We believe in taking the time to educate you in the planning process, so we can empower you with the necessary tools and information so that you can make the best decisions.
Consider it as a study session where we both dive into understanding everything we need to know in creating your dream wedding.
Understanding your priorities
Once we receive your completed questionnaire, we are eager to dive into understanding your unique love story and all about you!
Once we begin to envision a wedding day for you, we will schedule a follow-up call to ask some additional questions and gain further insight.
This is where we will dive more into budget expectations and understanding financial considerations to better develop a vision. Our goal is to create a vision that aligns with your financial priorities.
Engagement Shoot
Once we solidify with a photographer, we will coordinate with them to do our engagement shoot. We want to make sure this is one of our first tasks so that we can get the photos back to be able to begin our save-the-date process.
Understanding your priorities
Sending save the dates is one of the first priorities because of course, we need to let people know you are getting married! Once this task is done, we can take a breath and get ready for the fun part! The details:)
Within this stage, we focus on building your team of talented professionals who will help bring our vision to life and ensure a seamless flow of the day.
As we build your day, the details and logistics will begin to develop as well. We will begin some tasks in phase two.
Build and Develop
Connecting with Vendors
We strive to provide you with a curated list of talented professionals who align with your style and preferences.
We provide you with teams that we believe are the best fit, but of course, will always reach out to anyone you enjoy as well.
We will then work together to consider all of our options and select our team.
Pulling together the details
As we connect with vendors and secure their services, all the details will begin to fall into place.
We will work together to create a preliminary timeline for your wedding day. This timeline will serve as a guide to the flow of events, and we will coordinate with our vendors to ensure every element is seamless.
In addition, we will also create a wedding website so we can begin to enter our details for our guests and so that we can share the website on our save the dates.
Engagement Shoot
Once we solidify with a photographer, we will coordinate with them to do our engagement shoot. We want to make sure this is one of our first tasks so that we can get the photos back to be able to begin our save-the-date process.
Save the dates
Sending save the dates is one of the first priorities because of course, we need to let people know you are getting married! Once this task is done, we can take a breath and get ready for the fun part! The details:)
Design
My favorite section! DESIGN!
Now that we have our vendors, our budget is taking shape, and we let everyone know we are getting married...it's time to focus more on the look of our day.
When it comes to wedding design, every detail must reflect the unique style and personality of the couple. From the choice of colors, flowers, and decorations to the layout of the venue and the selection of table settings, each element contributes to creating a cohesive and memorable atmosphere.
A well-designed wedding should seamlessly blend the couple's vision with practical considerations, such as guest comfort and event flow. Whether it's a rustic outdoor affair, an elegant ballroom celebration, or a modern urban event, the design should tell the couple's love story and create a magical experience for everyone in attendance.
Showroom Tours
A big piece of the design process is being able to visualize, touch, and feel the products you are considering. This is when showroom tours come into play. When visiting showrooms, we are looking at the design and rental elements for the big day.
Often time it helps clients to see what we have been discussing in person and see if they like something better than the other.
So this will be that time to fine-tune our design and make those decisions.
Invitations
A crucial part of finalizing our details and logistics is understanding our final guest count and numbers. In order to do so, we need to make sure we send out our invitations in a timely manner in order to receive those RSVPs back and get those numbers to our vendors.
With that being said, we like to make sure we have plenty of time to design, receive, and deliver our invitations.
Hair + Makeup Trials
Having a hair and makeup trial before your big day is very important. This not only allows you to bond and connect with your artist, but this allows you to fine-tune anything before the big day.
Having a trial allows you how you like the look and feel of the services being provided and if you need any adjustments for the day of, you can talk through those concerns with your artist.
Catering Tastings
Food Coma!
Your catering tasting is a way to try menu options that you are considering and make the final selections for your menu.
We of course want you to enjoy what you are serving, and if you want to have any signage surrounding your wedding menu then we can get started on that.
The Final Stretch
The final months/weeks leading up to your wedding is when things start to get real and you may actually think to yourself, "Wow I'm getting married".
During this time, you will see everything taking shape, all of the details we worked tirelessly on, are finally getting fine-tuned and put to rest.
As the final days before the wedding approaches, the pressure and excitement of executing the meticulously planned design and coordination are palpable. The team meticulously double-checks every detail, from the floral arrangements to the seating charts, ensuring that every element aligns with the couple's vision.
With timelines and checklists, the team manages last-minute adjustments and communicates seamlessly to guarantee a flawless execution. The anticipation for the big day is building, and the dedication and passion of the team are evident in the seamless final stretch before the grand celebration.
Finalizing your numbers
Once RSVPs are sent out, we will begin getting a lot of responses from your guests. This will help us get the final details to our vendor team so we can adjust any invoices and/or details.
Final Planning meeting
Chances are, it's been a while since we first toured our venue so we want to do that again but with all of our final details.
Together we will walk through the space, and the timeline, and overall make sure we are on the same page for all wedding details and expectations.
30-Day Out vendor Check-in
Once we are on the same page, we will wrap up all of our details and check in with your vendor team.
We want to send all of our finalized documents and make sure that our information is the same.
Production and Wedding Day
Just when you thought we were done. All of our countless hours of planning are about to pay off because wedding day is just around the corner! Our team will handle everything for your big day and make sure you have the time of your life!
The wedding day is the culmination of months of meticulous planning, coordination, and execution. Every detail, from the flower arrangements to the seating chart, is carefully orchestrated to create the perfect ambiance for the couple and their guests. As the event planner, ensuring that every aspect of the production runs seamlessly is paramount. From managing vendors and overseeing setup to handling last-minute challenges with grace and efficiency, the wedding day is a testament to the dedication and expertise put into bringing the couple's vision to life.
Running Rehearsal
Typically the day before the wedding, we will gather at your ceremony location with everyone participating in your ceremony and we will run through it all.
I will take control of your wedding party and run them through the course of the ceremony to ensure everything looks seamless on the wedding day.
Stress Free
On the wedding day, we will be by your side every set of the way making sure all of the logistics we planned for, are going according to plan. We will set up all your decor, make sure everything is guest-ready, run down all the timeline events, and much more.
We want you to worry about nothing more than having fun on your wedding day, so let us take care of all of your details and you just worry about having a smile on your face!
Wedding Party Group Chat
The week of the wedding, I will introduce myself to everyone in your wedding party. I will create a groupchat and send over some important information for them to look at before we get to rehearsal day.
This allows your party to know who I am, and also get a sense of what to expect on the day of. Within this chat, we will provide a simplified timeline for them, key timeline events, and provide an outline of the ceremony.
Peace of Mind
Before the wedding, we will meet up with you to take all of your wedding decor off your hands and we will transport it to the venue.
The same thing goes for the end of the evening, the last thing you want is to worry about who is sober enough and who has space to take your items, so we got it for you! We will clean up all of your items at the end of the night and take them with us, and we will coordinate a time after the wedding day to get those back to you!
